Product Overview
These ST205/75D15 tires have the Loadstar K550 which is a tread pattern that is designed longer tread wear and lower rolling resistance. The construction disperses heat more efficiently and the flatter tread profile allows for increased towing stability.
This tire is DOT approved for highway speeds and use on US Highways.
This 6-ply tire has a load rating of 1820 lbs. when fully inflated to its max PSI of 50. It is recommended to run trailer tires at their max PSI as that is what they are tested at for ratings and running them lower could cause tread wear issues or even a possible blow out.
The HiSpec Series 03 is what is called a modular wheel, due to the circle cut outs around the rim. This is a classic style that is often found in steel wheels. These trailer wheels can be used with any type of trailer, including flatbed, utility, snowmobile, boat, travel, horse, and goose-neck. Aluminum wheels provide superior resistance to rust, are lighter weight than steel, and are a solid piece of metal which provide a smoother ride. Lighter wheel weight provides fuel efficiency.
